There are plenty of nearby places to get food or a drink, and the path is especially comfortable for jogging, with none of that hard, jarring feel in your feet and knees. The green space is relaxing, fresh and well looked after. It turned out smaller than I expected, but it's a lovely little patch of green in London. Hammersmith feels unusually modern, with many new or well-kept buildings compared with other parts of London, aside from Hammersmith Bridge.

Right in central Hammersmith beside a busy road, this is still a lovely, peaceful spot to rest or take a stroll. The District and Piccadilly lines are easy to reach by underground.

I had the chance to live here for a couple of years. It’s a quiet, safe residential area between Kensington Olympia and Hammersmith, with nice local cafes, pubs and supermarkets nearby. Tesco Superstore is just a few minutes away, and the people living here are lovely.

Brook Green sits between Shepherd's Bush and Hammersmith. I like the pretty park and lovely English houses, and it’s a great place to get away from the busy city and relax for a bit.
