The car park behind the hotel costs over £30 a day, so be aware of that. We found the hotel dated and poorly maintained, but the bigger issue was how unclean it was. There was a smell throughout, hair everywhere in the room, lots of mould, especially in the bathrooms, and a huge stain on the blanket. I don’t even want to know what it was. See attached pictures. London is expensive, but this hotel wasn’t worth our money or time and made us very uncomfortable. We cancelled after one night and left early. We travel a lot and have never experienced anything like it.

Breakfast was pleasant, though very basic. The room was a decent size and had what I needed, but it was pretty plain and could use a few touch-ups.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants about a 10-minute walk away, and the hotel is handy for the station and bus stops. Compared with many London properties, it felt more spacious, and breakfast was good. We felt it was good value for our stay. The lift is very narrow, though, with room for only two people at a time.

The staff were lovely, and Earl’s Court tube station is very close, with lots of restaurants along the way. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and it was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The toilet and bath were okay, though the exhaust vent needs dusting. There’s no complimentary water in the room, but you can get it from a jug in the lobby. The lift fits two people or one person with a huge suitcase. Four stars from me, and I’d definitely return.
