Teddington Lodge

Chloe was welcoming and quick to answer my questions, and Teddington Lodge is a handy short walk from NPL. I spent three nights there in a large, practical studio that was very clean and had a fully equipped kitchenette. The building was so quiet I heard neither street noise nor other rooms, which made it easy to rest and work. I plan to stay there again when I visit in the future.

We chose this lodge because it was close to Hampton and family we were visiting, and were glad it was available for our week in the UK. The building and room were attractive, clean, and well kept. It felt like coming home after a busy day. The newer mattress was comfortable, and we appreciated the air-conditioning unit. The kitchenette was current and had everything we needed before heading out or when we got back: an electric kettle, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, and utensils. The appliances all worked well. We didn't use the laundry, but liked knowing it was available. The shower warmed up quickly and had just the right water pressure. There was also a hair dryer, soap, and shampoo.

I stayed at the lodge last year and really enjoyed it, so I was looking forward to coming back. This time, everything was just as good as before.

I ended up extending my stay to five weeks, and I'd gladly come back. Teddington Lodge is spotless, quiet, comfortable, and well equipped. My studio had everything I needed, including a huge, comfy bed and a really good hot shower. There's also a convenient laundry room on the same floor. I left my car in the on-site parking bay and mostly got around on foot or by bus and train. Several bus stops and the station are an easy walk away. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, and I enjoyed walking to Bushy Park and the River Thames at Teddington Lock. Chi and Zara were kind, helpful, and very responsive. One of the best places I've stayed.
