Templeton Place by Supercity Aparthotels

I stayed in September in a spacious Premier studio, and was very impressed. It didn't feel cramped like my previous, more expensive place. The kitchen had two fridges, including one with a small freezer compartment that worked for my ice creams, a washer-dryer with tabs supplied, and a large combi microwave grill, though no conventional oven. There was also a TV with casting. I especially liked the separate shower and bath, a big plus with my mobility issues, and the large, extremely comfortable bed and dimmer lighting. The staff were friendly and professional throughout, always greeting me and sometimes stopping for a quick chat. The location is perfect, just around the corner from Earl's Court Station. A couple of things needed attention: the shower door was warped at the bottom and let water out, and I couldn't get the heating to work. Staff helped with the heating and were looking into replacing the door. My room adjoined a building under renovation, so there was some work noise, though I was out most of the day and it had stopped when I returned. It wasn't a serious issue. Alcohol is available to buy and keep in the room. As someone in recovery, I took it down to reception and would suggest asking for it to be removed beforehand. I definitely plan to return.

The rooms are well equipped, and the area is very convenient, right by Earl's Court underground station, bus lines, restaurants, a drugstore, and grocery shops. We stayed for six weeks and had an amazing time, thanks to the lovely, entertaining, and supportive crew. Amin and Gonzalo welcomed us at check-in and were the first two people we met in the UK. They made us feel at home. Joseph, the cleaning ladies, and the rest of the crew were great too, always eager to help. You can count on being welcomed warmly and staying in a convenient area.

The neighbourhood was really quiet at night, and the comfortable bed made it easy to sleep. We didn’t cook, but the kitchenette looked well stocked. There are plenty of food choices, supermarkets and a pharmacy within a five-minute walk, and Earls Court station is close by, with an easy route from Heathrow. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer in one. Amin at reception welcomed us warmly and helped with everything during our stay. We’d stay here again.

The bed was so crisp-looking that I almost felt bad getting into it, but it turned out to be very comfortable and I slept well. The room was clean, with a tidy bathroom and plenty of fresh towels. It also had a sofa, footrest and table in the lounge area, air conditioning, and Google Chromecast, which I enjoyed using to watch my programmes. I was here for Ride London, and the location worked brilliantly. The receptionist was welcoming, had a nice chat with me, and quickly got me and my bike settled into the room. A great place for the evening before Ride London. Thanks.
