The Brent Hotel

The room was clean, the bed was really comfy, and the shower was probably the best I’ve had in any hotel. The gentleman at reception was friendly and welcoming as soon as I arrived. He knew the local places to eat and gave me several options when I asked for recommendations. I had a great three-night stay and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Andy made our stay. He was the nicest, most helpful receptionist and went way beyond what he needed to do. We’d come from Denmark to London with just our backpacks and only a few hours of preparation, so our planning was pretty poor and we hadn’t brought chargers or adapters. Andy pointed us to the nearest shop and suggested places to visit nearby. We arrived before check-in, and I asked if there was a bathroom or somewhere to change before seeing Taylor Swift at Wembley. Andy said he’d see if he could get our room ready so we wouldn’t have to change in a bathroom. He got it ready in record time. Such a kind and dedicated guy. The hotel was fine, but Andy really made the stay for us. :-)

It’s basically a house renting out rooms, not really a hotel like they say. It was very pricey for something so basic, with no bar or food facilities. The nearest pub or food is a 15-minute walk, which wasn’t ideal after our long journey. Our room wasn’t ready either, so our luggage was left in reception while we went out for the day. The room was cold, and there was no heating at any point during our stay.

If you’re heading to Wembley for an event, The Brent Hotel is a great place to stay. The hospitality was superb, kind, and welcoming, and they shared plenty of helpful information about nearby places. A pub, food options for dining in or takeaway, and the tube are all a 5-10 minute walk away, which was really convenient. Hope to see you again for the next gig stay over!
