I’ve just moved into the area, so my friend and I stopped in for lunch last Monday. The staff member who welcomed us was friendly, and we got a lovely, comfy table. There was more choice than we expected, with a main menu, a lunch menu, and specials. I had a whole plaice, beautifully cooked, full of flavour, and a decent size. My friend’s classic burger was a winner too. We shared some lovely wine, and they brought water for the table. The staff were diligent and friendly, and I’m really impressed. Wish we’d left room for dessert! I’m looking forward to making this my new local. Thanks to everyone at the Bridge, see you soon!

We enjoyed lunch one day and Sunday roast another, and the Yorkshire puddings were a favourite. The pub staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and well appointed, and we had a lovely stay. We’ll definitely stay again. I’ve heard breakfast is available now, and I can’t wait to try it.

It’s a good spot for a few drinks, especially in summer when you can sit outside. The food has gone downhill over the years, though. Portions are small, quality is average, and the prices don’t feel justified. I’d go for drinks, but not for a meal.

The room was beautifully presented, comfortable, and quiet, which was a nice bonus. There were even little bottles of fresh milk, and I’m always glad to see a coffee pod machine. I’d definitely stay again.

I like spending time at this pub when I’m in London. There are plenty of nice spots to sit inside and out, the atmosphere is great, and the staff are friendly. The food is pretty good, about what you’d expect from pub fare. My favourite thing is how welcome you feel hanging out there for hours.
