We left and booked somewhere else after the hotel refused a refund and didn't give us a clean room. We’d asked to leave immediately, but since the booking was through Booking.com, we didn’t get reimbursed. The room was filthy from the start. It smelled strongly of feces, the toilet had visible stool stains, cockroaches were crawling around, and the bed was covered in hair from previous guests. We reported it and asked staff to clean properly. After we’d been out for three hours, nothing had changed: the hair and cockroaches were still there, and the bed linen still smelled terrible. After we complained again, a female cleaner changed the sheets in front of us. She was barefoot, and the blanket touched the floor and brushed her feet before she put it back on the bed. The toilet still had the previous guest’s visible remains, so I cleaned it myself. When I mentioned it, she looked at me dismissively. We complained at reception once more and asked for a refund, but got neither a refund nor a clean room. This was by far our dirtiest, most unpleasant hotel stay. It was unhygienic, infested with cockroaches, and run unprofessionally. I strongly advise people not to stay here.

The location is amazing. Step outside and everything's right there: food, shopping streets, walks and all kinds of transport. The staff were friendly and polite too. We first stayed for two nights before heading to Scotland, then chose to come back and spent another four nights here. Simply five stars for everything. I'll stay here on every visit.

The lads providing service were really nice and helpful, and customer service is great. The location's good too. But the noise is really annoying. Along with the main road, a motor runs all night and makes a lot of noise every few minutes. The rooms are quite small and cold in the evening. The heater wasn't on, so we had to ask reception for one. Hot water comes and goes throughout the day, including in the shower. Overall, it's an okay, good hotel for what you pay, but that motor noise is very annoying.

The location worked perfectly for getting the London's big market experience, and every staff member was friendly and supportive. I found the check-in smooth and efficient, and was greeted warmly and professionally as soon as I walked in. My room was spacious and spotless, with all the amenities I needed. I had an incredible stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, memorable visit.

The booking got mixed up, but the staff were so apologetic and helpful, and sorted it out to my great satisfaction. Rooms are clean, showers are decent and prices are reasonable. It's right in the heart of Southall. Those are my criteria, and this place gets them right. I'll be back.
