The Dover

The rooms are clean, and the location and price are why I've stayed at the Donver Hotel before and came back. They're quite small, and the walls are so thin you can clearly hear people in neighboring rooms and upstairs. Since management changed the rules, breakfast is gone and luggage storage costs an extra £5 per bag. With those changes, this is my last stay here.

Very handy for Victoria coach and rail stations, with plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The reception staff are helpful, and the small rooms are clean and comfortable. The stairs are steep, though, so older guests with heavy cases might find them difficult. Good for a short stay.

Breakfast was enough for what we needed, and the bathroom fittings were modern, clean, and very nice. There are quite a lot of stairs depending on your floor, but two pensioners managed them okay, so it wasn't too much trouble. We'd stay again if we came back to Victoria.

We really enjoyed our stay. It's a fab little hotel, clean and tidy, though a few spots could use a fresh coat of paint. The staff are fantastic, friendly, and very helpful. There's no breakfast, but a brilliant cafe and restaurants are just around the corner. Victoria tube station is about 10 minutes away. If you're after reasonable London prices in a beautiful area, stay here.
