The Eaton Townhouse

The room was decorated with balloons, a birthday card, and chocolates for my sister’s 30th, such a lovely surprise. We loved staying at The Eaton Townhouse. It’s right by Apollo Victoria Theatre and London Victoria Station, and we’d definitely come back. Thanks so much 🥰

The rooms were clean and came with a tea and coffee station and a safe. We booked two rooms for a short stay, and one was much bigger than the other, so sizes do vary. It was good value, but the walls are extremely thin. People upstairs were banging and playing music for most of the night, which kept us awake.

We’d arranged our 15:15 check-in time in advance, but when we reached the room after collecting the key from another hotel two streets away, there were still guests inside. We had to go back to the other hotel and were then told the room wouldn’t be ready until at least 18:30. We were exhausted after a day of shopping and sightseeing, and had tickets for a show starting at 19:30. They said there were no other rooms available. I will NOT stay here again. Our plans for a relaxing break fell apart, so avoid this place.

You have to check in at another location five minutes away. It was dry and sunny when I went, so that was fine, but I’d have been upset to do it in winter. I only found out after booking, and if that had been made clear beforehand, I might not have booked. The room and bedding were clean, and the bathroom was bright, modern, and clean. The desk was really just a tiny shelf, so it was no use for the work I wanted to do.
