The Edwin Hotel

For my first trip to London, this was a wonderful stay. The front desk person even helped carry my luggage down the steps when I left, and check-in and checkout were easy. The service was extraordinary. My room looked out above the front entrance, a very pretty view, and Earl’s Court tube station was close, making it extremely convenient to get around. The staff and housekeepers were so kind. They cleaned the room every day, with fresh towels, a cleaned bathroom, and a made bed whenever I returned from exploring. The room and hotel were well maintained and clean. The room and bathroom were tiny, as expected for Europe, about like a New York City hotel. I researched lots of hotels before choosing The Edwin, and trusted the reviews. I’m really glad I did. I highly recommend staying here.

Breakfast was just a cold buffet, which would have been good to know before booking. Still, for 125 quid for a double room in the garden basement, it was very decent overall, and I’d return. Check-in was easy, and the hotel has been modernized well. Everything was spotlessly clean and functional. It’s well located for West London, especially Earl’s Court Station.

We booked a standard double directly with the hotel and used it as our base for three nights in London. Earl’s Court station is only about a four-minute walk away. The rooms were nice, the staff were great, and I thought the hotel offered more than you might expect for London. I’d happily stay again.

We had a really good stay at the Edwin Hotel. Our room was clean and had the amenities described. The safe was simple to use, and the hair dryer seemed new and good quality. I also liked being able to crack the windows open for fresh air, with a view over the back garden. The room was cleaned very well each day. Earl's Court tube station is close by, handy for sightseeing and not too far from Heathrow, Kew Gardens, or Richmond. Would definitely recommend it.
