The room had the feel of a hotel room, with an en suite and all the amenities I needed, and I was very impressed. The staff were warm and accommodating, and breakfast was cooked just for me. There was a good choice of juices, coffee and tea, and it was very good even for a vegetarian. I stayed for one night to see a concert at Kentish Town Forum. If I’m at a concert in the area again, I’ll definitely book here.

We came here after a visit to the nearby Royal Free Hospital, and Lekha made us feel very welcome. The guesthouse was warm and cosy in the cold weather, and we looked out over a lovely mews garden in the middle of this Victorian road. Belsize park underground station is about a 5-10 minute walk away. Our room was compact but had everything we needed: a comfortable double bed, en suite shower and toilet, a table with two chairs, an open wardrobe, and a tea and coffee station. There was also an iron, hairdryer, free WiFi and a TV. Really, nothing else was needed. Breakfast was freshly cooked right in front of us in the kitchenette beside the dining room. The Full English was generous and delicious, with plenty of other choices too. The information booklet is worth reading. We’d happily stay again.

I come to London every year and would definitely book this place again, if there’s a room available. It’s good value and very well located, just a short walk from the Northern Line at Belsize Park. The rooms are comfortable and have en suite bathrooms, and the host is so friendly. Breakfast was to die for. What a lovely find!

It was great being able to make tea or coffee in our room and use the kitchen, and the generous breakfasts were another plus. The host was warm, friendly and obliging. We enjoyed our stay, especially with such a perfect location. The home baking in the afternoons was a nice bonus. Highly recommended!

I plan to return whenever I’m in London. Primrose Guesthouse is in a quiet, charming neighbourhood, and Belsize tube station is an easy walk away. Our room was cosy, the proper English breakfast was delicious, and the host was lovely.
