The price was very reasonable and included an excellent full English breakfast and really strong coffee. I needed a place in London at short notice after my travel plans changed, and a friend suggested a room here because they were already planning a gathering. It worked out perfectly. Dinner was excellent, with lots of drinks and gluten-free options, and I liked that it's an independent pub. The room was cosy, warm, felt safe, and was sparkling clean. The neighbourhood was quiet, and with the pub closing at 11, I slept peacefully. Service was super friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from KGX. I'll stay again if I need to and recommend it to family and friends.

We both want to come back next time we're in London. The place was already buzzing at 6pm on a Monday for quiz night. The service was friendly and helpful, and they somehow produced a table from nowhere. The quiz was epic, with a quizmaster who was having fun without taking over the room. We enjoyed excellent house wines and a delicious range of meals, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices, plus smaller portions such as fish and chips. I had the Grilled Halloumi Salad but asked for falafels and hummus instead of Halloumi. It was fresh, tasty, and perfectly balanced.

They hosted my birthday a few weeks ago and were so accommodating. I can't recommend this 10/10 pub enough. I've been going once a month for a while, and even at weekends a central London pub never feels too rowdy here. The atmosphere is warm, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The bar staff are friendly, and the food is great too. There are a few covered outdoor tables, making it a nice place to hang out in summer or even winter if you smoke, with heaters outside.

I had a delicious salad that was filling and perfectly seasoned. The food is fab, the staff are nice, and the local crowd gives it a lively feel. It's close to Kings Cross but far enough away to avoid the tourist crowd. There's a great choice of vegetarian and vegan food, tasty wines, and a good selection of beer and cider. Highly recommend! Well done to the chef.
