The Hayden Pub & Rooms

The staff were the best part of our stay, especially manager Luigi, Joao, and sweet Melita. They were so friendly and helpful, and we felt very welcome. The pub had a great vibe, and everything we ate was tasty and freshly made, from breakfast to burgers and fish and chips. Our room was lovely and well equipped, with a really comfortable bed and no outside noise. We had a great time at the Hayden, and it added value to our London trip. We'd recommend it. I ended up needing to stay overnight because of an emergency, and Luigi, the General Manager, was kind, professional, and went out of his way to help. Everyone made a stressful situation much easier. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had thoughtful little touches that made it feel homely. The next day I tried the lunch deal, and the crispy, juicy chicken burger was excellent value. Earlier, dinner at The Hayden on Westbourne Grove had been a real treat. The dishes were full of flavor and clearly prepared with care, and the service was welcoming and attentive without hovering. The Guinness was perfectly poured too, which really added to the evening.

Breakfast was the only meal we had, and we really enjoyed it. They also gave us a welcome drink, and when we needed to extend our stay by half a day because of a late flight, they fitted us in and discounted the rate. The staff were brilliant and happily carried our two large, heavy bags up and down the stairs. It's a great little pub and hotel, really central for places like Portobello Markets, though mind the crowds. Bayswater and Queensway tube stations are both nearby, so getting around is easy. Highly recommended all round. Thanks for a wonderful stay. 🍺

Brunch on the outdoor terrace would be lovely on a sunny day. The staff were friendly, and the menu was excellent. I had the Eggs Royale, with poached eggs melting into the smoked salmon on toast, plus a delicious sauce and hash browns. The cappuccino was great too. Really liked The Hayden in Notting Hill. It's on Westbourne Grove, with plenty of restaurants and shops around. Highly recommend brunch here.
