We had a really pleasant three-day stay. The hotel and rooms were beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and the quiet surroundings made it easy to relax. It's also close to a train station, so getting into the city center was convenient. The staff were very friendly, polite, and ready to help. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend the hotel. If we come to London again, we'd definitely stay here.
We liked the calm, peaceful feel of Battersea after busy days in the city. The hotel is a little out of the center, and that suited us. It's stylish and cozy, with a cinema, big shared kitchen, games room, and a sky lounge with a terrace and beautiful views. We'll definitely come back. It's a real gem in London!
I booked the hotel's most expensive room, but it looked nothing like the website photos, which showed lovely decor and accessories. When I raised it, they said the photos were just for show. Is that professional? The bedspread was dirty and the curtains torn. They said they'd fix the curtains the next day and replace the bedspread the day after. I was told the mark was only on top and that sleeping on it wasn't a problem. But the bedspread wasn't changed the next day, the curtains weren't fixed, and they wouldn't move me to another room or give me a refund. If you don't want to feel scammed, don't even consider booking here. I'll attach photos of the room, and I'm also prepared to share the WhatsApp messages where they said it was okay to sleep on a dirty bedspread.
I stayed for 28 days for work, and it was a great experience. The staff were so friendly, knew everyone by name, and made the place feel like home. Raphael was great too and honest about what to expect. The facilities were amazing, especially the rooftop fire pit, cinema, and games room. The location was excellent, with bars, restaurants, cafes, and gyms right nearby. The room was modern, the shower was great, and the bed was comfy. I'm gutted they don't have more branches across the UK, because this would be my first choice for a place to stay :)
The room's kitchenette was laid out well, with a sink, cooker, microwave, and kettle, though we only used the kettle. The staff were nice, and the location was pleasant. On arrival, a lovely woman at reception showed us up to the room in the lift. We'd hoped for a romantic weekend, but the bathroom turned out to be an accessible wet room rather than the luxurious suite we expected. The shower curtain was dirty at the bottom, and water leaked toward the toilet even with it closed. We asked for a mop, and the cleaner came that afternoon to sort it out. The room was also too warm, so we kept the fan running overnight. The bed was comfortable enough, but its lift-up mechanism made it shift a lot whenever we got on or off. You could pull another bed underneath the lit underside if you wanted to eat. There was only one office chair, though they could provide another. The closet hangers were so high I had to stand on a shelf to reach them, unless you're over 6 ft. It looked promising when we booked, but the room itself was really disappointing and not what was advertised.
