We were here for one night for a wedding, and the staff were very helpful. They looked after our bags, and there was a 24-hour manned desk. The clean room had a kettle and air con. It’s a lovely little hotel, especially for the price, and really convenient for St Pancras. We’ll definitely use it again.

There was a lot of noise from nearby rooms in the morning, so the walls don’t seem particularly soundproofed. If you don’t plan to get up early, bear that in mind. Apart from that, this is a great place for the price: clean, well-kept room and a great shower, about a five-minute speed-walk from King’s Cross. The staff are top tier, especially the friendly, accommodating guy at the desk. They’ll hold your luggage too, and I felt safe leaving my bag there all day. I relied on other reviews when booking, so I’m returning the favour. I’ll absolutely stay here again.

Our bed was pretty comfortable, and we had plenty of loo roll and tea and coffee. The rest of the stay was bizarre. My sister booked it, so I didn’t know what to expect, but £110 a night felt insane for the tiniest room I’ve ever been in. Sitting on the toilet, my knees literally touched the door. The bathroom fan didn’t work and looked clogged with dust. People returning to their rooms woke us several times at night because the walls are as thin as paper, and there was a constant noise like a washing machine spinning that we couldn’t work out. We were on the third floor with no lift or accessibility arrangements, so don’t book if you need those. The atmosphere was weird and the welcome wasn’t friendly. It’s an 11-minute walk from the closest tube station, Kings X, which feels quite far out for London. For the same price, you can probably get breakfast at a Holiday Inn instead.

The rooms are small, but perfectly adequate for tourists. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great. We stayed two nights, found it excellent value and will definitely come back. Highly recommended, thank you.
