The room was clean and didn’t have any hint of a smell. The receptionist, Muhammed, was really helpful and sorted out a late checkout for me. The location was handy for food, outlets, and markets, and Earl Court station was only about a three-minute walk away. The whole stay was great, and I’d definitely return.

The location is excellent, about a five-minute walk from a metro station, and the reception staff were friendly and polite. But the room service was among the worst I’ve experienced. They didn’t change or regularly clean the sheets, and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned daily. All they seemed to do was replace the trash bag. When I raised it with reception, they seemed surprised too.

My fiancée is pregnant, so we couldn’t stay in a room with such a strong sewage smell. It was completely uninhabitable, and we had to book another hotel. Reception was extremely unhelpful: no room change, nobody came to check the problem, and their only suggestion was to cancel. When we tried to cancel, the hotel wouldn’t do it directly and sent us to Booking.com. They said the hotel had to confirm the cancellation, which left us stuck. The conditions and service were unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Friendly, helpful staff, and my room was clean, comfy, and really well equipped. I was at the back, so I could hear the tube. Bring earplugs if that kind of noise bothers you.

The room was small and had a couple of minor issues, but nothing worth complaining about. The people were really nice, and the location is perfect, with easy access to the District line and pretty much anywhere.
