The Kensington Hideaway

It was quiet, clean and nicely decorated, in a safe area with a good location. The rooms are very small, but that seems to be common across London. My main problem was the lack of space for clothes and luggage. It felt cramped, and there wasn’t a closet. There was maintenance one day and no water available. To make up for having no water all day, we received one drink coupon. Since there were two of us in the room, I’d have preferred a discount for that day or at least two drink coupons.

We came for our mum’s 60th birthday, and the staff made it special. Everyone was polite, friendly and always greeted us. We also appreciated thoughtful extras like the birthday card. The hotel isn’t huge, and the rooms are cosy, but they’re well designed and clean. The location was lovely, near the tube and Kensington High St with its nice shops and restaurants. We’d love to come back.

The staff were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived, and stayed helpful and approachable throughout. The service really made us feel comfortable. Breakfast each morning had plenty of variety and good quality options, a nice start whether we were heading out or taking it easy. Kensington Hideaway Hotel was a lovely part of our London visit. The neighbourhood is peaceful and charming, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of and the lovely . The rooms and shared spaces were spotlessly clean, with stylish, tasteful decor that felt cosy but elegant. We felt at home there and would gladly return. It’s a great choice for a comfortable stay with good service in one of London’s most attractive areas.

The hotel has a classy, stylish feel throughout, and we’d be happy to stay again. We spent two nights there for my partner’s 60th birthday. The room was comfortable and clean, with tasteful decor. The staff were friendly and attentive when they welcomed us, and each of us was given a glass of birthday champagne. The location on Kensington High Street was marvellous, just a 5min walk from the Tube.
