The room was quite small and old, but everything worked, so it caused me no trouble. EU outlets were a handy extra, even though we'd brought our own plug. The location was perfect for the places I wanted to see, felt safe, and was fairly quiet. Staff at the front desk and concierge were lovely and helpful, always greeting us and asking about our day. They even offered umbrellas when it rained.

We started in a Superior Twin Room for a couple of nights. It was clean and comfortable, and spacious compared with similar rooms in central London. For the rest of our visit we upgraded to a one-Bedroom Suite, which we loved for its layout, extra room and lovely view. At The Mandeville Hotel, Mr. Razvan and the concierge team took especially good care of us. We're grateful for their service and will definitely return.

The team made us feel at home throughout, especially Rizwan, Carlos, Ian, Ken, Madi, and Amar, who were all kind and helpful. We found the rooms clean and comfortable, and the hotel has a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Oxford Street is nearby, Bond Street Station is a short walk away, and James Street has plenty of restaurants and cafés for an easy meal or coffee. Getting around was simple, and we had a really nice stay at the Mandeville Hotel.

Breakfast was a real highlight, and the serving team were polite, attentive and lovely with our drinks. Michaela made the whole stay work so well for me, Joanne and Karen. Even before we arrived, her replies to my email came across as professional, reassuring and ready to help. The beds were clean and comfortable, the location felt safe, and there were plenty of bars and shops nearby, with Oxford Street an easy walk away. Paddington and Kings cross stations were also accessible. What a lovely visit. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in my Capital.

We stayed at The Mandeville Place Hotel from 26 to 28 December 2025, though our booking ran until 4 January 2026. We had to check out early because of urgent circumstances, and Michele at reception confirmed a refund for the unused nights. Instead, we were charged for two extra nights, around GBP 494-500, and that money has still not been returned. No Operations Manager contacted me to sort it out. Management even told me I would have to delete my earlier review to receive the refund, which felt highly unprofessional and inappropriate. The service was poor, and Michele was unfriendly and unprofessional throughout. Management didn't take responsibility or deal with us fairly. We're completely dissatisfied with the stay and the way the refund was handled, and wouldn't recommend the hotel.
