The Milestone Hotel

Emma, the event coordinator, did an incredible job arranging everything we needed and setting up The Oratory before we arrived for our very small wedding reception. Nothing was too big or small to ask of her, and we can't thank her enough. The room was fantastic for our couple of nights, the service was excellent, and the food is to die for. It couldn't have been more perfect, and we look forward to coming back for our anniversaries.

The hotel itself is historic, quaint, and cozy, with beautiful, clean rooms that feel more like a luxury residence than a hotel. The food was fantastic: an excellent breakfast, an incredible dinner, and great room service. We enjoyed evening summer strolls through Hyde park after dinner, and my mom will absolutely stay again when she visits. I booked it for my 95 year old grandmother and my mother, who were visiting me in London, because the service ratings stood out from the other options. Now I understand why. Steve made us feel welcome before we even stepped inside, greeting us with warmth, attention, and real kindness. He made my grandmother feel special and took care of things before we had to ask. He was personable without putting on a show, and attentive without hovering. In a time when hospitality can feel rushed or impersonal, he reminded me what good service looks like. He went above and beyond because he clearly takes pride in caring for people. The front desk, room service, and breakfast teams kept up that high level of service throughout. Steve and the rest of the staff made the experience unforgettable. Thank you!!

The room, pillows, decor, and vibe are all stunning, and the concierge is great. Michael at the front desk was excellent too. I've stayed in five-star hotels around the world, but I've never left a review while still at one before. This place is thoughtful in a way that really stood out. It isn't about glitz or glam. From the moment you walk in, you can tell everyone cares. Stay here. Or don't. I'll be back!

The residence apartments are spacious and feel like home, and you're close to the tube. They welcomed us with huge baskets, leave little desserts after dinner or in the afternoon, and have fun activities for kids like decorating cup cakes. The staff service is top notch, the location is lovely, and they try to fix any problem straight away. I could go on and on. We think this is one of the best hotels in the world for so many reasons.
