The Park City Grand Plaza Kensington

The room was basic and a bit dated, but it was huge. There was almost a separate dressing area outside the bathroom, which was also a good size, with a good shower and extras such as razors. My wife was delighted by the flowers I’d ordered, and the rose petals on the bed and heart-shaped Valentine’s pillow made it feel extra special. Thank you for that. The bed was rock hard, though the pillows were soft. My wife asked for an extra quilt to make it softer, and it arrived promptly. The room was too warm for us, and we couldn’t find any temperature controls or radiators. We tried opening the big, heavy old wooden window. I struggled with it, and it wouldn’t stay open, so I propped it with a water bottle. Nights in the area were fairly quiet, apart from some Sainsbury’s vans behind our room, nothing out of the ordinary. Check-in was super smooth. I’d already done it online, and it was a bonus that our room was ready early. We didn’t eat at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food. It’s in a very nice area, close to Gloucester Rd and South Kensington underground stations, though Uber worked better for us. My wife and I stayed over Valentine’s weekend while visiting London. Nearly £300 for two nights without breakfast felt expensive to me, though probably about right for London. We’d certainly consider staying again on another London trip.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, bigger than at many other London hotels, and the helpful staff and good amenities added to a great stay at Park City Grand Plaza Kensington. There’s free Wi-Fi and a fitness center. It’s in a quiet, elegant part of Kensington, a short walk from Earl’s Court station, so getting around the city was easy. A peaceful place with good connections and value for money in central London.

The location made seeing London easy, with most main attractions conveniently close by. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable, and everyone was friendly and kind from the moment I arrived. Service across Park City Grand Plaza Kensington Hotel was excellent and always came with a smile. I had a wonderful stay, would happily come back and recommend it to anyone visiting London.
