Our weekend booking fell through, so we rang Pine Lodge at the last minute. They sorted us out with a room and parking on Newquay highstreet, plus a flexible checkout. Someone was even waiting at the front desk after hours to check us in. Such a lovely family run hotel, couldn't fault it. 10/10.

Health and safety have been contacted about this place. It's disgusting, with bedbugs, and people waiting to be housed who are troubled. This isn't a B&B. The owner was vile, rude and nasty, the worst sort of person to speak to or meet. It needs bulldozing to the ground.

Room 11, avoid it at your peril. The windows wouldn't open, and neither the TV nor wifi worked. There were sick stains on the carpet and dirty bedding, and the bunk beds were in the bedroom. Outside, the noise was horrendous, with neighbours and staff sitting on the steps smoking and drinking. Staff weren't very helpful either. The shower room was a mess: the door was too big to close, the sink was bigger than the toilet, there was no mirror, light or shaving point, and no cold water came from the tap. It's a dirty place, definitely wouldn't stay again or recommend it. Just as well they don't serve breakfast, because that'd get a zero rating. Health and safety should pay a visit. Steer clear or you may regret it.

The owner takes no responsibility for anything, and the rats here are disgusting. Noise is a constant problem, with police around all the time. Staff are so rude and have a terrible attitude when you ask for help. The shower and toilet don't work, and breakfast doesn't exist. Worse place to stay at a bed and breakfast? Haha.
