I stayed one night midweek and found the hotel clean, comfortable, and well kept. It’s on a quaint, quiet road. The room was on the small side, but I’ve stayed in hotels like this in the area before, so I knew what to expect. It was nicely decorated and had good facilities, and the bathroom was adequate. The staff were friendly and keen to accommodate me. Good value for the price, and I’d stay again.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and the service throughout my stay was smooth. My room was clean and well maintained, and the hotel had a comfortable, welcoming feel. The Premier Notting Hill is well placed for local attractions and transport, so it made a convenient base for exploring the area. I had a pleasant stay and appreciated the comfort, location, and hospitality. A good choice if you’re looking for convenience and comfort in Notting Hill.

This was our second stay, and we had a wonderful time again. The room was spacious and well equipped, with dressing gowns, slippers, and a tea and coffee tray. It was made up every day, and the roses on the bed for our wedding anniversary were such a thoughtful touch. The heating was just right too, unlike at some hotels where you end up cold. The staff are lovely, welcoming, and very responsive. The location works really well, with the Tube about a six-minute walk away and lots of great pubs, restaurants, and shops around Notting Hill. Getting to the rest of London is easy too. I find it sad to read some of the ridiculous negative reviews about this lovely hotel. If you want a huge room, book somewhere that offers huge rooms. If you want to be next to the Underground, choose somewhere right by a station. Complaining about a homeless person nearby seems completely unfair, and moaning about a local cultural festival is baffling. My heart goes out to the owners. I run my own holiday business and know how difficult some guests can be. I honestly can’t see what there is to fault unless you’re looking for things to complain about. If you can’t afford Claridge’s, this hotel is excellent value. We wish the owners every success and are already looking forward to coming back later this year for our third visit.

The room was okay and had a fair amount of space. The toilet was good, and there was even a bathrobe. But the carpets were coming loose, making it hard to move our luggage, and needed a thorough vacuum. We found strands of hair in both the corridors and our room. The shower area looked older than the rest of the bathroom, and the showerhead kept dripping hours after being turned off. I wondered if the water bill must be huge. At night and early in the morning we could hear noise and TVs from rooms on both sides. When we arrived after dinner, the night staff member seemed to be playing video games with a small console and huge headphones. None of that bothered me enough to post a review, even though Anna asked us to write one. But then we asked them to call us a taxi and were told we should have asked in advance. Anna, or someone with a similar name, said she couldn’t do anything, while the other staff just stood there. We were told to walk outside and find a cab ourselves, with four suitcases. We felt disappointed and distressed, and those final moments spoiled our impression of the hotel and all the little details that add up. I hadn’t planned to write this until we asked for one simple thing and were told to sort it ourselves, and then asked to leave a good review.

The staff were really nice, and the location is handy for shops and Tube stations. It’s also convenient if you’re going to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The rooms are quite small, as is common in London, and the breakfast area isn’t big either. The shower cubicle was the worst part for me. If you’re anywhere near the larger end, you won’t even be able to get inside it. For the price, I expected more space. Everything else was good.
