The Prince Akatoki

Breakfast at the restaurant was spectacular, and I loved the little nighttime tea touch in the room. The rooms had generous space and a comfortable layout, while the hotel itself felt elegant but still welcoming. Service was warm and easy from arrival onward. Every staff member made us feel cared for. It was a memorable stay in a fantastic location, and I can't recommend the place highly enough.

Our Executive Suite was bright, clean, roomy, and well equipped, and the Japanese-style Toto bidet was fantastic. We booked just one night at Prince Akatoki, including breakfast and dinner at Tokii Japanese restaurant, and loved it all. Hiu, the Guest Experience Manager, was cheerful and so gracious. Her colleagues at reception were just as much fun. They exceeded our expectations by a good margin. We felt thoroughly spoiled and will be back. Thank you!

I really liked the location for exploring on foot. Marylebone was great for shops, cafes, and food, Hyde Park was close enough for a lovely walk, and the tube was about seven minutes away. Getting an Uber was easy too. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I especially liked coming back from dinner to find the bed turned down. There were nice tea bags, cold drinks, and a yukata in the room, plus a birthday dessert on my first day. Staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast was enjoyable, especially the matcha latte. The English breakfast was good, while the Japanese one was just okay; the other buffet choices were good. I had a pleasant several-night solo stay at Prince Akatoki and would come back.

The location is hard to beat, right in central London with everything nearby. I had stayed at the Nobu hotel around the corner earlier in the year and hadn't enjoyed it, so when they offered a VIP return to make up for that, we chose this hotel instead. That was definitely the right call, and we'd make the same choice again. Our Executive room had a great view, loads of space, a comfy bed, and a well-stocked minibar. The rooms, staff, and service were all excellent, with no complaints over three days. The restaurant's sushi selection was amazing, and I highly recommend the omakasi tasting menu. The whiskey bar had a good range of drinks and handcrafted cocktails.
