The Rosemount Hotel

The restaurant serves great food in large portions, and the quality is high. It can’t take cards, unlike the hotel, so bring cash before ordering. There’s an ATM across the road. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the rooms are clean and reasonably well maintained. The toilets and shower are compact but work fine, and there’s a kettle, mugs, and tea bags in the room. Rooms run warm, so keep the radiator low or off. Aircraft noise is minimal even with the hotel under Heathrow's South runway approach, especially with the window closed. Other guests are usually pretty quiet. It’s a great budget hotel near Hounslow central tube station. Parking is good, with access at the rear. Handy for Heathrow trips, spending time in central London, or work assignments in the area if you live far away.

The room is small, and the bathroom is much, much too small. There’s no air conditioning, which is understandable in London. What disappointed me was the lack of a mini fridge, and there isn’t even enough space in the room for one.

You can often hear planes, and the decor feels old-fashioned. The room is average, clean but very basic, and the bathroom is small.

Water was gushing from the ceiling because of a leak in my room, and I felt extremely unsafe. I called reception, but they hung up on me every time. The place is dirty and vile, and the area is terrible. Don’t stay here. I’m sitting in my room crying because the bed is soaked and nobody is at reception.
