The Short Let West Kensington Apartment

The apartment facilities need a serious upgrade and a proper deep clean. I called customer service several times to report that I couldn’t get into the apartment because the cleaner was reluctant to hand over the keys, but nobody answered. I didn’t have a good experience staying here.

It’s fairly quiet, close to the metro, and there are good pubs nearby. But the place is small and filthy. We rented it for four people, and although it did have four sleeping spots in two double beds, they were so bad that when one person turned over, the other got pushed off. The sheets were gross and didn’t look washed. There were only three mugs, though luckily four plates, and just two seats, so two of us had to sit on the bed to eat. Turning on the stove cut the power, and it wasn’t fixed quickly. The bathroom was so tiny that showering was nearly impossible. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Please take the bad reviews seriously and don’t stay here. I’ve never felt so unsafe somewhere I paid to stay, and the cheap price isn’t worth it. They rent rooms for parties, there are all kinds of council complaints about the disturbance, and you won’t get any sleep. Even on a quiet day, the mattress is worn out and lumpy, and the blinds don’t close.

Stay well away. The place was dirty, there were hardly any kitchen utensils, and the staff support was nonexistent. The mezzanine bed was unusable because the ceiling was so low, and its mattress was damp and stained. I was also ripped off on the bill. I’ve never stayed somewhere worse.
