The Warwick was a really comfortable place to come back to after exploring London, and getting to Brighton for a day trip was easy from there. Check-in was simple, the bed linen and towels were spotless, and the clean bathroom had a great shower with good-quality shampoo and shower gel. The building was quiet, so we could relax away from the busy city. We’ll definitely stay again on our next London visit.

We spent five nights here and, even after seeing the mixed reviews once we arrived, we were satisfied with our stay. Room 4 was nicely furnished and decorated, with a very comfortable mattress and cushions. The size didn’t bother us; there was plenty of space for sleeping and showering. It’s also very well located, with everything within walking distance. A few things could be better. The bedroom door opens directly onto the hotel entrance area, so noise carries through and light comes in underneath while you’re in bed. The walls had lots of marks and stains, the shower curtain could be longer, and at 6 a.m. on our departure morning the bathroom had no water, so we couldn’t even flush the toilet. We paid more than €800. We weren’t hugely disappointed, but despite the good points, we didn’t feel the stay was worth that much.

Alena handled our check-in with real professionalism and dedication, and the service was excellent. We had a great stay in a convenient location and would definitely come back.

The bed was very comfortable, and having air conditioning was a real plus in London. The hot shower, heated towel rack, coffee maker, and kettle were handy too. The only water available was from the bathroom sink, so I’d suggest leaving a couple of bottles in each room. Our room was small and lacked many surfaces for putting things down, which also made sorting luggage tricky for two people. The toilet paper holder was still broken, the TV remote only worked when it felt like it, and you may hear guests coming and going, though it didn’t keep me awake. The hangers were wooden, despite what some earlier reviews said. You can open the window as well as use the AC. If you’re American, keep in mind these buildings are older than the country, so be open-minded. It was a good stay overall, and we’d book again. The location is great for walking, with restaurants, shops, and Underground stations nearby. Staff were friendly and easy to reach by phone or WhatsApp. Check-in is self-service, but Kevin messaged us on WhatsApp the day before to confirm everything and get us ready. We had international roaming set up in advance, which made the process easy. Some complaints in other reviews, like self check-in, room size, and needing internet on your phone, were things we already knew about before booking. We were out most of the time, so the room size didn’t bother us much. My main suggestion is complimentary bottled water, but those are small troubles.

Room 1 was disappointing, especially for the £750 we paid. It was small, there was no bin, and the window wouldn’t open for fresh air. The bathroom fan didn’t work, leaving the room damp and steamy. The TV kept freezing and switching off, and the curtains looked ready to come off their rails. The place needs general maintenance. Builders outside our window also started making noise at 7:30 in the morning.
