The Westbridge Hotel

There are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby, with good connections into central London. Breakfast was very good, offering a decent choice of quality hot and cold food, and the pastries especially stood out. Staff were welcoming and efficient at reception and in the breakfast and bar area. The room was modern and well designed, and everything worked properly. It stayed quiet and peaceful despite being next to a busy high street. I would have preferred a softer bed, but it was comfortable enough. I had a very pleasant stay and would happily come back.

We had everything we needed in the room, and it was cool when we arrived. The place was so clean and smelled fresh, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. It’s very close to Abba voyage, with a lovely courtyard for drinks. We stayed two nights and would definitely recommend it.

The room was perfect and the carpets were lovely. The in-room hot chocolate and shampoo were a nice touch. Sadly, the bar pizza was like a frisbee. I’m guessing it had been cooked with one of the complimentary hairdryers.

The rooms are cosy and temperature controlled, the price is reasonable, and having the gym is useful. We’ve stayed here twice now, but some details need attention. The lift keeps breaking, and even after it’s working again, the out-of-order signs can stay on the doors. Rooms get cleaned, yet dirty mugs are left behind for us to replace ourselves. Reception sometimes doesn’t follow through when we call with a request. The TV only has basic terrestrial channels, with no Netflix or Prime, and the movies that were available during my last stay have been removed. That’s why I’ve given it two stars.
