Thistle Hyde Park

We've stayed here three times over the last three years and love it. The building, architecture and interior design have a beautiful old-world feel. The people are welcoming and helpful, and we've had the best experience here. Hyde park is nearby too. Simply the Best!

The staff were amazing and friendly, but the hotel itself was horrible. Our first room had stained sheets with hair on them, so for the night we were moved to a smaller second room. The next morning, after breakfast, our keys stopped working because the door lock had broken. We were transferred to a third room for our second and final night, and its sheets also had hair and small stains. We were exhausted, so slept on top of the covers. In the morning we found black mold covering the bathroom ceiling. I would never stay there again.

It's a small, elegant hotel, and we absolutely loved it. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our room on arrival, but got an unexpected upgrade to a junior suite. The room was lovely and comfortable, and the bath was huge and deep, perfect for a long soak. Breakfast was perfect, and every member of staff was incredibly helpful. We'll definitely be back.

Simone gave us such a warm welcome and was really helpful from the start. The hotel has lots of character, is in a great location, and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the staff made everything easy. We had an amazing stay and would definitely come back. Thank you!
