We were up watching Netflix until 2am, with the window open and a little gap in the curtains. Then we heard what sounded like porn noises outside the window, as if two people were at it. I figured it had to be someone else's TV, so I opened the curtain and leaned out, stark naked. The sound stopped straight away, and I heard movement rustling outside. 😂 Looks like someone was having sex while watching us through that gap. A first for everything, I guess. 10/10. Don't leave the ground-floor window open.

The staff were all attentive and pleasant. They noticed some people in our group had disabilities and moved us to a ground-floor room. Pratikh especially showed how personal the service can be at a Travelodge, going above and beyond. Great location and a great experience.

Check-in was easy and went smoothly. The room's a good size, with tea and coffee, a TV, and a shower over the bath with plenty of power. There's also an extra single bed, which I don't need but might be useful for someone else. My only gripe with Travelodge is that WiFi isn't included. I have an unlimited plan, so it doesn't affect me, but I know it does for other people.

The two ladies at reception gave really great customer service. I stayed one night and found the room spacious, clean, and well equipped enough. There are plenty of food options nearby, including Greggs, Burger King, WH smith & Costa coffee.

The welcome at reception was nice, and finding an actual key for the room was a bit quaint. The room was standard Travelodge fare, but it faced the M4 and the traffic was loud enough to disturb my sleep. For this location, the soundproofing isn't sufficient. Kew Gardens is about a 10 minute drive away.
