The access room made getting around and having a shower so easy. I’d broken my foot and needed to stay two nights for an unrelated hospital appointment, and the Travelodge team were really kind and accommodating. Kostas checked me in and was so friendly. He also arranged for staff to bring a pizza up to my room when I ordered through the kitchen’s click and collect system, which was a lovely gesture. I loved my stay and can’t recommend it enough.
The hotel was a five minute walk from Kew Bridge station, and the staff were helpful and polite. We used it as a base for a hen night and would stay again. Our family room worked perfectly for three adults, with one double and two single beds. We chose the included breakfast, a help-yourself buffet with hot and cold drinks, pastries and toast. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were very nice, and the room temperature was just right with the air-conditioning on briefly.
If you’re here for a longer stay, good luck getting your room cleaned. After seven days you have to ask at the front desk. The internet was unreliable too, with speeds lucky to reach 5 Mbps up or down, and you have to log in again every 12 hours. I won’t stay here again.
The staff put a lot of effort into meeting guests’ needs, especially Harriet. She greets people with a smile and goes out of her way to help, including disabled guests. I stayed three days, and the hotel seemed new or newly refurbished. My classic room was roomy and a high standard, with a large comfortable bed, tasteful modern design, and immaculate room and bathroom. The housekeepers clearly take pride in their work. The bathroom had a bright large mirror, plenty of shelf space, clean white towels, and complimentary hand wash and shower gel/shampoo with a lovely scent. There was also a desk and chair, an armchair, a full-length mirror with a plug, and a large flat-screen TV in a good position with a great picture. The lighting was well judged, and guests can control the heating and air-conditioning.
The hotel was easy to find, in a great spot, and close to the train station, with bus stops very nearby. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfy, and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the one hiccup: I waited for a while after seeing the sign asking guests to wait to be seated, but nobody came. The staff member was sitting at reception chatting with the receptionist.
