Travelodge London Dagenham

I had a lovely stay, and Ms. Gülseren at reception deserves special thanks. She made me feel at home with her warm smile, welcoming manner, and professional, helpful service throughout. Her positive attitude really made a difference.

The hotel itself was clean, but the leisure park around it felt really run down, with rubbish lying about and people sitting outside in camping chairs. Inside, kids were running through the corridors all day, and the fire doors were left open even though signs said to keep them shut. Breakfast was disappointing too: rock-hard bacon, fruit that was still frozen, and a toaster that either charred the bread or only did one side. The parking bays were so tight it was hard to get out of the car.

There aren't many shops or other businesses around, and four units sit empty, but the car park is usually about half full, which gives the area a bit of life. The hotel is right behind a huge parking lot. Its best feature is being close to a cinema with very reasonable prices. 👌

I sometimes stay here to get some rest because I'm homeless. The reception staff are okay, but check-in is at 3, and even when I arrived at 2:30 with an empty room, I was told to wait or pay £15 for early check-in. I only wanted to put my things down and rest half an hour sooner. I don't understand the company's policy. What bad thing would happen if they let me in early? It really feels disgusting and makes no sense to me.
