Travelodge London Feltham

I had a really good stay at Travelodge Feltham. The room was comfortable and clean, and everything else was very good. The one letdown was the paid WiFi. Even after paying, it kept disconnecting, so I had to reconnect over and over.

This is just about the room, and everything was fine apart from a couple of odd things. The TV lost its signal on some channels whenever we switched on the vanity light, which was strange. Also, there was no Guinness at the bar. We were in disabled room 601 and had a restless night because people kept coming in and out through the main door next to our room, banging it each time.

This was my second visit, and we booked three rooms for a rugby weekend. The staff were superb all weekend, polite and informative. The rooms were basic but comfortable, clean, fresh, and well aired. The hotel itself was tidy and quiet. Breakfast was good value, with cereal, fruit, and hot English-style food. There are plenty of places to eat a short walk around Feltham, plus a nearby Wetherspoons, train station, and lots of buses. Handy for getting to many attractions.

The room had what you need for a quick night away, but there wasn't an ironing board. I ended up using the bed to iron my uniform, which wasn't ideal. Staff were superb and really welcoming, especially Durga & Ashish, who I had a chat with.
