The staff were superb, friendly, professional, and helpful, and the car park is right next to the hotel. Watch the videos showing how to get in and out, though; it's tricky at first, especially on the way out. Reception gives you a 50% discount voucher, which you can use at the exit barrier. Scan the ticket first, then the voucher, and tap your card or phone. Internet was weak, depending on the room, and Travelodge gives you 30 minutes of free WiFi. The hotel has the usual Travelodge facilities, and there's a market nearby with everything you need for your trip. To head north towards Crown Court, Police, and Raphael Park, walk through the market and use the underground passage to cross the roundabout. There's a market there on a Wednesday. I'd recommend Raphael Park for unwinding after work 😊.

The room was quiet and spacious, facing St. Edward Church from the fourth floor. The staff were helpful, too. A fridge in the room and a microwave somewhere in the hotel would have made the stay perfect.

It suited my needs and was good value, with a clean, tidy room. There are local places to eat just a short walk away, though this site has no air conditioning or dining. Being right beside the market also means noise starts around 6am.

The town centre location was handy, with shops and the market close by. Inside, the hotel was clean, the room cosy and comfortable, and the place felt quiet and peaceful. The spacious reception has a vending machine, and there’s a lift as well as stairs to every floor. I’d definitely come back.
