Travelodge London Stockley Park Hayes

Jose at reception worked incredibly hard throughout my stay. It was impressive seeing him juggle cleaning, helping guests at reception and serving at the bar, while staying friendly, professional and positive. Even when he was clearly busy, he didn’t make anyone feel rushed. He took time to speak politely and make sure guests were looked after. His attitude made a real difference to the hotel’s atmosphere. Jose is a credit to Travelodge and deserves recognition. Thanks for a welcoming and enjoyable stay!

We had a great walk before our flight, with the golf course and woodland right there. The hotel is close to the airport but still feels green and pleasant. Breakfast and the cafe were perfectly nice, with options for vegans, and the service was welcoming and efficient.

The next morning, a very kind receptionist apologized profusely and offered a discount on our next trip. That was appreciated, but our arrival had been a letdown. We got in very late after a long, exhausting day and, although we'd booked a double, there were none left. The only room available had twin beds and was accessible. The receptionist didn't apologize, which left us really disappointed.

For a handy Heathrow stop, the prices are reasonable, especially when booked ahead, and the staff are pleasant enough. The hotel feels fairly modern for this chain, and it was clean and just about comfortable. But the windows don't open, and the centrally controlled heating and cooling meant the air-conditioning units were noisy and intrusive overnight. Stockley Park isn't somewhere you'd pick for a leisure stay, more a place to be when you need to.
