Travelodge London Wembley

The room was small and only okay at best. There was a leak right above the electricals, and although they wanted to move us, we had so much stuff and Valentine's Day decorations that we had to stay put. No soap was provided, though the shower was lovely. Lillian helped us through the whole thing and was the hidden gem of the place, the reason our stay had a positive outcome. Thank you so much. The location was okay, but the bus stop outside was out of order, so we had to Uber everywhere.

Getting around London was easy from Travelodge London north circle, with public transport, restaurants, and attractions close by. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. Check-in went smoothly, and for the price we had a great stay. I'd happily come back and recommend it.

The hotel was very clean, and it’s close to tube stations with Wembley Stadium only a short taxi ride away. The room was small but big enough, though the TV was smaller than at other locations. Our evening meal plans also fell through: reception said pizza was available all night, but restaurant staff later told us it was off because the oven wasn’t working. We ordered Wingstop on Just Eat instead, and it arrived within 30 minutes. We’d booked early check-in so we could get ready for an event. After my wife had used the bathroom, the water was shut off when I went to get ready. Reception said maintenance would take two hours, and there’d been no warning at check-in. The desk attendant apologized, but didn’t offer even a bottle of water for brushing my teeth, so the early check-in was pointless. It was a little warm overnight. The supplied fan had a label saying it had failed its electrical test, and I think it should have been removed and replaced. Opening the window was the only option, but the main road was noisy, so we could only put up with it for a short time. I imagine it might have been easier if we’d been in a room at the back of the hotel.

The staff were really nice, and disabled Blue Badge holders can park for free, which was great. It was a cheap night’s stay in a great spot for Wembley Stadium. The room felt dated, though, and without air conditioning I imagine it could be a real problem in summer. The toilets by the lobby were overflowing, and one lift was out of order, which is a serious issue for a wheelchair user like me.
