There are lots of food options on the street, and the metro is just around the corner. My spacious room was on the first floor, away from the street, and the staff were amazing and really helpful. Just be aware they’re only available at certain hours, not around the clock. It was good value for what you got. The bars nearby can make it noisy at night. Finding the entrance was a bit tricky too, as it’s in a small alley just off the main street, with the name on the door.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the linen was clean, and the bathroom was nice. The air conditioning worked well for adjusting the temperature. The area has lots of Asian restaurants and shops, though I found it odd that there wasn’t an early coffee shop nearby for a continental breakfast. There’s no breakfast or lobby at the hotel, and no sports channels for watching games. It was easy enough to find, though the entrance looked unusual. I rang the doorbell, and carrying luggage up one floor to my room was inconvenient. The room key also opened the main entrance. I booked two nights, but the room wasn’t refreshed during my stay. The Elizabeth Line from Heathrow Airport gets you close to the hotel.

The room was a little old, but it had everything we needed for a weekend and the location was convenient. What really made the stay was the attentive, friendly staff. They replied quickly, helped us with a late check-in and sorted out a few issues that were entirely our own fault. It was a wonderful, affordable stay, and I’d recommend it.

A good, cheap bed for the night. The room was small, with just enough space to move around the bed, but it was clean, warm and comfortable. The bed itself was very comfortable and I slept well. My room had an ensuite and everything worked, although the shower slider rail was wobbly and needs fixing. There was only a ceiling-mounted air conditioner, but it heated the small room well. I’d stay again.

Brick Lane is a lively, busy area, so I wasn’t expecting a very quiet stay. Still, I didn’t hear the other guests. The room was clean, fairly priced and well placed for enjoying Brick Lane or using as a base to explore nearby. Staff were polite, and a noon checkout was very reasonable.
