The check-in was simple, and the room was spotless, comfortable and had everything I needed. I stayed at the ULH on Saturday night, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd stay again if I'm in the area.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and attentive. United Lodge Hotel also felt like great value for the money. Emirates Stadium is an easy walk away, which made it a great spot for an Arsenal match. I had a lovely stay and am looking forward to coming back next week 😁

Dear Andy, Your email puts all the blame on us and leaves out what happened from your side. We acted in good faith the whole time, and returned the key because you promised a refund. We still expect you to keep that promise. You have our bank details, and we're willing to settle this fairly. We stayed as a family of five, and understood from the start that losing the key would mean a charge. But when we told you at checkout that it was missing, you demanded a deposit higher than the amount originally stated. You also said you wouldn't release our suitcases unless we paid immediately. That's not acceptable. When we challenged the amount, you said we'd taken drinks from the minibar. We checked it together, confirmed nothing had been used, and you accepted that. Then you accused us of breaking the side table. The family members in the room repeatedly said they hadn't broken anything, but you kept making the claim without evidence. Your message says you called the police. That's not what happened. We asked you to call them, and when you didn't, we called ourselves. They didn't come, saying the matter should be resolved between the parties. To avoid more stress, we paid what you demanded and left. Ten days later, we found the key and brought it back. You said the locks had already been changed, but still insisted we return it and asked for our bank details, promising to refund us later. We trusted you and handed it over. If the locks had been changed and the key couldn't be used, why insist on taking it back and promise a refund that never came? Kind regards, Fikret Uzunyayla

We had a family member stay at this terrible hotel. They first booked one night, then decided to stay there for another four nights. At the start, they were told it would be £20 if the key was lost. When they checked out, the hotel asked for £50 because the key was missing. After we protested, we managed to pay only £30. We later found the key and returned it because we trusted them, but the promised payment to our bank account never arrived. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.
