Urban Rest Hackney

When we arrived, the room was filthy: dirty bedding, urine all over the bathroom, and hair all over the sink. We waited hours for them to sort it out, when all we wanted was to arrive, shower, and sleep. The stay was full of problems. Building work was loud and disruptive, things were broken, and communication was terrible. The bath plug was stuck, the toilet seat was broken and swung around when you sat on it, and the Nespresso machine didn’t work. The chair and desk were nowhere near a plug, and the chair was broken too. At one point the fire alarm went off for hours and nobody helped when we got in touch. After hours, I managed to crack into the alarm system myself. All round, the communication was terrible, and the staff were soulless and rude. If the stay had been fine, that might not have been a problem, but it wasn’t.
