The owner was so welcoming and friendly, and they upgraded our room as soon as they learned I was coming with a family of five. It’s a comfortable place close to the train station, with lots of restaurants nearby. As a Muslim, I didn’t have to worry about finding halal food, and there were plenty of vegetarian choices too. Everything else was superb, and we’ll definitely come back. My only hope is that they can provide an extra fan in summer, since the one in the room wasn’t strong enough for me.

I’ve stayed at Vilenza a few times and it’s a real gem. The old building is in a very quiet spot, yet Whitechapel and its E line connection are close by. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Cigdem seems to run things efficiently and cheerfully, and Vilenza always feels welcoming.

The staff feel like family, and the hotel has become a second home to us. My family and I first stayed at Vilenza hotel for a wedding in London, had such a brilliant experience that we booked again, and now it’s our regular choice whenever we’re in the city. Efe, a very good friend of mine, and the rest of the staff were kind and took great care of us. The hotel is neat and clean, with excellent facilities. They even treated us to snacks and coffee. Service was professional and perfect as usual, and the hospitality is top notch. It’s also very reasonably priced. I’d recommend it to anyone, and of course we’ll stay here again on our next visit.

We were in town for a concert at the 02, and the stay had a lovely, positive feel from start to finish. The room was lovely, the staff were great, and check-in was easy. The tube is just around the corner, so getting around was simple. I’d definitely recommend it. Thanks to the guy at reception for making our stay so great!
