The people are what made this stay. Alex at the spa and Maddison, who did my treatment, greeted us warmly, and our morning chats were lovely. We also had to move rooms during the stay, and Aidan kindly offered to take our bags. He was a pleasure to talk to. When we mentioned we were settling in for the night with Netflix, the popcorn manager, whose name we unfortunately forgot, quickly brought two plates of popcorn and complimentary drinks. Alex on the ground floor greeted us whenever we left and came back, and even remembered our names. Ernest, a warm and bubbly engineer, helped make our Netflix issues less frustrating. We were at the W Hotel in London for my 50th birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We’ll almost certainly be back soon. All the best from, Rav & Mandy

The birthday breakfast was amazing, thanks to Ines and the rest of the breakfast team. Before that, Greg greeted us on the ground floor and left a lovely surprise in the room for Elizabeth’s special birthday. We also had a superb spa session, and Peter at reception made us feel very welcome. Joshua from security was a total gentleman. George and Peter at the concierge were a delight to talk with in the morning. The whole visit left us with a mind-blowing feeling, and we’ll be back many more times. I got sick while visiting as a tourist, and the staff were so kind and attentive. They checked on me through the day, brought tea to my room to settle my stomach, and made sure I felt supported. That was far more care than I expected. The hotel itself is stunning, and the on-site restaurant and bar are excellent, with beautiful views.

Charlene at the front desk gave me such a warm welcome to London when I arrived late. She suggested nearby places that suited my tastes and told me about the hotel amenities. Since I knew I’d be checking in late, the hotel had confirmed a late checkout weeks beforehand, which gave me extra time there. I stayed 4 and 5 December, 2025, and felt more welcomed and appreciated as an Ambassador Elite member than at any hotel I’ve visited in recent months. At the bar the next day, Keanu and his team looked after me well despite it being a busy weekend. The rooms have that sleek, mysterious W style, with dim hallways. It’s essentially in the heart of Chinatown and Leicester Square, with Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square just steps away. I’d recommend it to couples or solo travellers.
