Westpoint Hotel

The location is the big draw: Paddington station and loads of restaurants are close by, Hyde Park is nearby, and Kensington Palace, including Princess Diana memorial garden, isn't far either. I'd stay here again if I came back to London. The room and shower felt cramped, and the water pressure was low. There's only one elevator. We were given just one room key, which has to be left at reception when you go out and picked up again when you return.

Amazing location, and for a budget hotel it's more than okay if you're after a couple of lights. Big thanks to Claudio for helping me change rooms 🤌🇮🇹

Hyde Park is only a short walk away, which made for a great morning stroll, and the location is probably the best thing about this place. The room was clean and nice, with tea and coffee provided, though it was very, very small, as you'd expect in London. It was cold when we arrived because the window had been left open. The radiator didn't really warm the room up. We could hear every step and conversation through the thin walls, and outside there was constant beeping and shouting that came through the window all night. The woman at the desk was quite rude at check-in. I wouldn't pick it for a family, though it could be manageable for one night. For a very short stay, it's fine.

The location by Paddington Station is perfect, but the room was tiny. Our double had a small queen bed and barely enough room for luggage. The receptionist didn't seem very interested in working or looking after guests.
