We had a luxurious, relaxing week at Langunnett to celebrate my wife's birthday. The cottage is peaceful, spacious and well equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches. It's clean and well maintained, and has a quirky character. We especially liked that many rooms have windows on two sides, and the master bedroom has them on three. It's near pretty Looe town centre, at the top of a steep, wooded road that adds a bit of adventure. From the top there are outstanding views across the Looe Estuary. On a clear night we were surprised by how many stars we could see, with much less light pollution than we're used to. Bring binoculars or even a telescope if the sky is clear. Binoculars are handy in daytime too, for looking across the Estuary and into Looe.
