The breakfast at Penvith Barns was a real highlight, with fresh eggs from the hens and delicious Cornish Sausage. We’ve stayed at quite a few B&Bs, and this one topped them all. Andrew and Theresa were fantastic hosts, and our room and the setting were beautiful. There are some great places just a short distance away. We’d happily recommend Crystal Cabs for a reasonably priced trip to Polperro or Looe. The staff were really friendly. The Yurts looked stunning, with amazing views, if you fancy something more adventurous. We’ll be back, and have already suggested it to family and friends who are planning to book.

We stayed in the Hen House for two nights and enjoyed every minute. The room was lovely, with beautiful views, and Andrew and Teresa were so friendly and helpful. Nothing felt like too much trouble. The goats, sheep and chickens were there to see, and breakfast was superb, with fresh eggs. We’ll be back again very soon. First class all round!

The setting is beautiful, with stunning views, and the property is kept in excellent condition. Andrew and Theresa made us feel at home and were so welcoming. We also had fun feeding the animals, and breakfast was a lovely start to the day.

A great quiet base for exploring Cornwall. Our Haybarn room was cool, with a good bed and WiFi. Andrew and Theresa were lovely, always smiling, and helped us book restaurants and figure out what to see nearby. We got to feed the chickens and sheep, and their two dogs were very sweet. Andrew’s breakfasts are the best, with plenty to choose from and daily specials that keep things varied. This b&b made our holiday complete.

Andrew and Teresa clearly take a lot of pride in what they do. They went out of their way to help my 11 year old daughter feel comfortable, taking her to collect eggs and feed the chickens and sheep, and checking if she needed anything. They’re lovely people, and I’ll recommend their place to anyone I know heading to Cornwall. Our spotless room had an amazing view across the valley. I really couldn’t fault the accommodation or the location.
