Penwyn Bed and Breakfast

The harbour views from our room’s balcony were breathtaking, and Simon left delicious homemade cookies in the room each day. The guesthouse is right in the centre of town, though it stays quiet as it’s up a hill on a side road. Our room was bright, spacious and clean, with thoughtful, homely touches and everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious too, with cereals, spreads, yoghurt, toast and a cooked meal made to order. Penwyn is an excellent bnb. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I’m sure we’ll return.

Storm, the resident cat, was lovely too. I couldn’t be happier with our stay and will definitely come back. We’d never been here before, but were pleasantly surprised by the room and its beautiful harbour view. It was a hot weekend, so we really appreciated having a small fridge. Everything in the room and en-suite was provided, and I couldn’t fault either. Simon cooked a fresh, amazingly delicious breakfast and offered us a choice, along with cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Homemade biscuits were left in our room each day, with fresh milk, topped-up tea and coffee, and fresh towels when needed.

That view! The place was clean and comfortable, and Simon was very attentive. He made us a wonderful breakfast every morning and catered for us as vegans and vegetarians. We also got fresh towels and homemade biscuits daily. There were even two bottles of bubbly in our room, above and beyond. Thanks for making our stay one to remember.

We felt very welcome, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. The hosts were excellent, the bed was comfy, and breakfast was brilliant. The town is super close, with great views too. I especially appreciated the homemade biscuits, cold water in the fridge and the big selection of teas in the room.
