Even in winter and out of season, we had a great day visiting friends who were staying in a cottage at Polean farm. I was told there’s even more to do in the summer. The kids loved the tractor ride around the farm, then played outside and had great fun in the well-stocked games room. We also held and fed the Guinea pigs, fed the goats, and went into the chicken pen to feed the chickens. The cottage looked clean and homely when we stopped by, and our friends seemed very settled. There was plenty to keep us busy. I’d highly recommend it!

There was plenty to keep my little one busy without going anywhere. The Guinea pigs, goats and lambs were right outside the cottages, and the play equipment was really good. The cottage was lovely, with nice views, and it’s about a ten minute drive to both Looe and Polperro.

We stayed in Twinkles, and the accommodation was comfortable with all the essentials. It’s a quiet, lovely place, and our 16 month old was delighted by the guinea pigs, Shetland pony and games room. Looe was an easy drive for the beach and great fish and chips. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The owners clearly enjoy making things fun for families. Kids can help care for the guinea pigs, chickens and goats, ride toy tractors, go on a real tractor ride or ride horses. We had a great week and the weather was lovely. The sensible precautions helped us feel safe. After lockdown had cancelled an earlier holiday, it was lovely to get away to Cornwall and stay at Polean Farm once restrictions eased. The cottages were as clean and sanitised as you could realistically expect, with changes to help keep people safe. The welcome hamper with cream teas and apple drink was a nice touch.

For my 50th birthday, my son treated me to three nights in the most beautiful, picturesque cottage I’ve ever stayed in. It was just perfect. The farm is in a wonderful setting, with a supermarket town not too far away for supplies. The neighbouring residents were all friendly and also seemed very happy with the accommodation and views. Kitchen implements had been reduced because of current restrictions, but there was still enough. A definite five-star rating from me!
