Tencreek Holiday Park

We really enjoyed our four-night stay and will definitely come back. From arrival, the friendly staff made us feel well looked after. Our pitch was a large, fully serviced hardstanding with a wonderful view across the bay. We were near the lower facilities block. Its showers were clean and practical, with shelves for clothes and toiletries and adjustable temperature controls. My one small gripe is that the push-button showers stop quite quickly. The restaurant and bar were closed while we were there, but the takeaway was open most days and came in handy. The bus stop is about a ten-minute walk away, with regular services to Liskeard, Polperro and Looe.

The Aladdin pantomime was a real highlight, engaging, well performed and entertaining for all ages. The entertainment overall was high quality, and all the staff we met were welcoming, friendly and happy to help, giving the park a lovely atmosphere. Our 3 bed Sunking caravan was clean and in really good condition. The pool was enjoyable and never too busy, while the play park was good for the children, especially its soft flooring instead of grass. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.

We loved our Easter holiday here and can’t wait to return. The park is well maintained, with lots of facilities, including a free pool and free entertainment. The Aladdin pantomime was especially good, very professional and with great singers. The modern bar area was clean and prices were reasonable. Looe is only a few minutes away by car, so it was easy to visit the beautiful town. I’d definitely recommend the park.

The fireworks were brilliant, and the staff made sure nobody took our allocated pitch while they were on. We’d booked an electric pitch for our motorhome for the event, but our original weekend clashed with a music event. Reception contacted us to see if we wanted to move the booking, and changing it was no trouble at all. We appreciated that. The park was lovely and had everything we needed. There was no water at the hookup, but a tap and all the facilities were only a short distance away. The bathrooms were clean, and staff were helpful. We walked to Looe in about 20 minutes along a country lane, which I wouldn’t recommend with small children. We’d mistimed the hourly buses, but the bus back was easy and cost £5 for two adults. Looe was lovely, and reception were helpful with information about the area. Hope to stay again.
