Jo and Mark make you feel welcome every time, and nothing is too much trouble. I’ve stayed here several times and wouldn’t choose anywhere else in Polperro. The room is lovely and clean, with a comfy bed, good-quality pillows and a fresh smell. The soft towels are excellent quality, and the shower is powerful and hot. Breakfast is fantastic, with good-quality produce. It’s so peaceful that the only thing we heard was an owl. Perfect stay. Thanks, Jo and Mark.

After a hectic Christmas, The Cottles was just the getaway we needed from busy home life raising four teenagers. Mark & Jo made us feel very welcome, and nothing was a problem for them. Our bedroom was clean, bright and airy, and the breakfasts were very tasty. Polperro was a lovely base for exploring the surrounding areas.

The home-cooked breakfast was a real treat, and the room was super clean and tidy. We booked direct and saved money too 😬 Thanks, Jo and Mark! It’s a great location, just a two-minute walk downhill into the picturesque fishing village of polperro. It’s a hidden beauty, with little cafes, bakeries and cosy pubs overlooking the cove. Highly recommended!

The hosts, Mark and Jo, are lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice, and it’s only about a five-minute walk into Polperro. The place is clean and comfortable and has parking. Just be aware the road is steep and narrow.

The Cottles was clean, comfortable and welcoming, and Mark and Jo were fantastic hosts. We had a wonderful stay, and the breakfast was delicious :)
