Finding the place was a real adventure because there was no information available. I stayed for two nights, and the rooms were decent. Management should give visitors clear instructions on how to access the services.

The rooms are very basic and cheaply fitted for what they cost. A few modest changes to the decor and fittings could make them feel cosier and more like home, with a more expensive look without spending much. If budget hotel chains can manage that, surely universities can too, especially when young adults pay more per week than many people pay in monthly rent. The campus itself is nice, the surroundings are beautiful, and the halls feel secure, with entry locks on both outer and inner doors of every block.

I live in this campus accommodation and really enjoy it. It's peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by countryside and nature, with rabbits nearby. There's also a social area where you can have a drink or play pool.

I've lived at CLV accommodations since September 2019, and I've never wanted to leave. It's one of the loveliest places I've lived, surrounded by nature. The grounds are peaceful, and in the mornings you can hear birds; walking around the university grounds, you'll spot horses, cows and sheep. The buildings feel secure, and having onsite parking makes life much easier. CLV staff are friendly, approachable and always ready to help, even when busy. Site manager Jodie is especially lovely and will go the extra mile. The renovated accommodation blocks now feel welcoming and homely, with their contrasting wall colors. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend it.

I spent two years living here during uni, and it was a difficult experience. Staff could be mean or rude when you just wanted to collect a parcel. The parcel process is awkward: they have to put a slip in your mailbox before you can pick it up. I don't know why there's no online or email system, which might also save staff from handing out slips. WiFi in the rooms was poor, especially in the evenings. The free bus to the university park didn't come often enough, with gaps of 1.5-2 hours on weekends. Buses no longer go to the city center either, so getting there means changing to the tram at university park or clifton south park and ride, taking 45+ minutes. I gave it two stars because the room was OK and the kitchen fairly spacious with good storage, though its countertop and drawers were quite old. At a minimum of 130 pounds a week, I'd expect better parcel handling and WiFi, especially when trying to do research or essays without a connection. Hope this helps anyone considering living here.
