Ivy House Country Hotel

Everyone made us feel so welcome at Ivy House, and we had the most special day. We fell for the venue as soon as we first saw it. Seeing everything set up for the wedding confirmed we’d made the right choice. The whole place is beautiful and perfect for a wedding. Hannah helped us through every step, and we're grateful to her and all the staff who helped with the day. The evening BBQ was amazing, and everyone loved it. The chips were 10/10! We’ll definitely come back to stay. 💜

The grounds are stunning, and we enjoyed walking along the public footpath to the park and pub. Our room was lovely and spacious, and we had a very pleasant weekend. The staff who were there were extremely friendly and polite. Breakfast was good, but there wasn’t much choice, and the lunch and dinner menus were very limited and disappointing. Staff seemed stretched thin, especially when there was a function, as no extra staff were brought in. They’d also run out of real ale.

The staff are exceptional. The setting is stunning, and the hotel is outstanding, clean and beautifully presented. A fabulous place to stay.

The hall was just right for our reception: an open, light, marquee-style space with air conditioning, lovely drapes and fairy lights across the ceiling. The crooked barn made a gorgeous backdrop for the ceremony, and the grounds were beautiful and picturesque. Hannah kept the day running smoothly, the kitchen cooked the best BBQ, and the rest of the hotel staff helped us book in and looked after our guests. I can't thank everyone at Ivy House Country Hotel enough for hosting our perfect wedding day. I fully recommend it as a wedding venue.
