The Cliffe at Dinham

We spent Valentine's Day here during a weekend in Ludlow. The setting was lovely, the staff were attentive and couldn't do enough, and the food was beautiful. We'd definitely come back. Thank you.

The accommodation is nice and the setting peaceful, but the breakfast had very few vegan or plant-based choices, which was really disappointing. Please list the vegan options clearly on the printed breakfast menu. I'd suggest plant-based sausages and bacon, along with Flora spread and oat milk.

Breakfast was delicious, and the poached eggs were perfect. We had a nice view from our top-floor room, with a comfortable bed and a bath as requested, thank you! The only downside was the chill: the bedroom and bathroom heating never came on, though the lady downstairs at breakfast said it should run on a timer. The location's great for walking into Ludlow, as long as you don't mind climbing a hill. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our night here, including the pleasant bar area, even though the hotel was quiet. For £145 we got the room, a lovely three-course evening meal and a good-sized full English breakfast, so it was fantastic value. The room was OK, with a shower and comfortable bed. The market square is a pleasant five-minute walk away. A shame the races on Monday were cancelled.
